1. Getting Eligible:

2. Documents needed to apply for a tourist visa
When applying for a tourist visa, there are a few documents that you need to keep handy. Your valid passport, which must be valid for at least six months, is the most important document when you travel. 3. Tourist Visa Fee
Dubai may seem like an expensive place, but getting a tourist visa is not as costly as you might think. The cost fluctuates between AED 40 (Approx. USD 11) to AED 850 (Approx. USD 235), depending on the duration of your stay. Typically, a 30-day single-entry visa is priced at AED 330 (Approx. USD 90), and an extension is possible with an additional fee of AED 850 (Approx. USD 232). To avoid paying any unnecessary visa extension fees, it’s wise to carefully plan the duration of your visit.
All visit and tourist visa categories qualify for a 30-day extension, which can be requested once upon application and subsequently after receiving approval from the authorities. This extension can be processed without the need to leave the country. However, a person who exceeds the visa duration without renewing it will be fined AED 100 (Approx. USD 28) per day beginning 10 days after the visa’s expiration.
4. Visa Processing Time:
The processing time for a Dubai tourist visa can take anywhere from 24 hours to 4 working days, depending on the visa type and the processing speed chosen. Express visa processing is available for an additional fee.
5. COVID-19 Regulations for Travellers
Now, let’s talk about COVID-19 regulations for travelers. The good news is that Dubai has waived the hassle of submitting documents like vaccination certificates for securing a tourist visa. As of now, travelers heading to Dubai no longer have to present a COVID‑19 vaccination certificate or undergo PCR tests.
